Welcome

What to expect at our services

At Vineyard Oak Park, we try to make it as easy as possible for you to meet God and connect with people. We're informal. "Come as you are" is one of our favorite phrases because we believe it captures Jesus' heart for people. No need to get all dressed up - spiritually or otherwise - for us. Relax and enjoy.

If you visit on a Sunday morning...

Welcome / We begin our service five minutes beforehand with a countdown and music to gather us together and prepare us for our time with God. One of our pastors or leaders will then open the morning with announcements and an introduction to the teaching.

Message / A teaching that helps us contend for the rule and reign of Jesus in our lives and in our city. You will find a Bible for your use under a seat in front of or near you.

Offering / We view the offering as a form of our worship that blesses God and supports what He is doing here at the Vineyard. Do not feel pressure to give!

Worship & communion / After the message we move into an extended time of modern worship songs led by a full band. This will give our hearts a chance to respond to the teaching we’ve heard. Feel free to sit, stand, sing, clap, laugh (or cry), or just sit back and soak it in. We project the words of the songs onto the screen at the front. If you don’t know the songs, hang on, we’ll sing them a couple times – and don’t worry, we didn’t know them at first either! Also note: there is “open communion” in the back corner of the sanctuary which is open to all.

Prayer time / There will be a Prayer Team up front at the end of the service to pray for any needs you may have, including physical healing. We will pray for anyone about anything.

Guests / Please stop by the Host Station at the back of the sanctuary after service to receive your free CD and ask any questions you may have!

[SERVICE TIMES] We offer two identical services on Sunday mornings, both have a full kids' program downstairs. First service: 9:30 - 11:00 am / Second service: 11:30 am - 1:00 pm.
